Clarke Marine has been serving the marine industry for nearly thirty years. With work backgrounds in commissioning, restorations, refits, rigging, large diesel engine repair, yacht deliveries, and captaining in both power and sail in vessels over 100'. We have logged over 25,000 sea miles. In 1993 we opened Clarke Marine Surveyors with the slogan "A Marine Survey is a wise investment", and we meant it. Boats are an expensive investment: make sure you are receiving your moneys worth by hiring a professional with years of experience. We have been marine surveyors for over 14 years. We are members of the Society of Accredited Marine Surveyors and a full Accredited Marine Surveyor (AMS). We are obligated to obtain continuing education credits on a yearly basis. Our other affiliations include the American Boat and Yacht Council, National Fire Protection Agency, (NFPA) and the National Association of Marine Investigators. We have performed: Damage Surveys on cargo at international airports, rail stations, industrial sites and marinas. We have worked with law enforcement, US Customs and USCG on a number of claims and inspections from barges to damage claims on high speed motor yachts. Fire damage inspections with local Fire Departments and Police on boat theft and fraud. Condition and Value surveys on power and sailing vessels for individuals, charter companies, corporations, insurance companies and banks that now total in the thousands. We have traveled extensively throughout the U.S, Bahamas, Caribbean, and Europe to perform various marine inspections over the years. From Hatteras and Viking sport fishing boats, to Pursuit and Grady White: from Lagoon Catamarans and Hinckley to cruising sailboats, we promise to provide the best knowledge of our experience for a comprehensive marine survey. A typical 40' vessel takes us at least five to six hours for a prepurchase survey, plus many hours generating a report using the latest 3D software.
